“We are staying in Philadelphia,” yelled Tim Arnold, one part of the Philly-native trio Good Old War. “Fuck New York.”

Cheers echoed through Northern Liberties as the threesome helped to tie up the Philly FM Fest at the Ukie Club.

The day started with acts such as Jukebox The Ghost (see the bottom set of images), Reading Rainbow, Nicos Gun and The Head And The Heart (below), and ended ¬†with the Good Old War’s warm harmonies and crisp yet simple lyrics.

The guys seemed to feel right at home and guitarist/vocalist Dan Schwartz even gave an on-stage shout-out to a very special guest, his mom.

Crowd favorites like “Coney Island” were played, intertwined with witty banter with friends in the crowd.

The band will kickoff their Fall tour on November 16th with shows along both coasts.

Seattle’s The Head and The Heart (below) brought the crowd to their feet.

Local trio Jukebox The Ghost (below) played an energetic set.
